🎨 Tips for Personalising Your Ornaments

Make your personalised Christmas ornament truly special with a thoughtful message, name, or date. Whether you're creating a keepsake for your own family or a heartfelt gift for a loved one, here are some suggestions to help you get it just right:


✍️ Personalisation Guidelines

- We use upper and lower case lettering, depending on the available space on the ornament at the website HQ. Each stand will have their own variations of hand writing. Please check their examples. You can check ours out on our Instagram page here

- If the names or wording do not fit, we’ll contact you by email to confirm any changes.

- Please double-check the spelling of all names, especially those with multiple variations (e.g., Isabel vs. Isabelle, Donncha vs. Donnacha).

 - The Ornament Shop is not responsible for spelling or grammar errors due to autocorrect or incorrect input at checkout.


👨👩👧👦 Family & Couple Ornament Placement

- Many of our family and couple ornaments feature gender-neutral characters.

- Be sure to enter names in the order you’d like them to appear on the figures. Each name corresponds to a numbered position on the ornament and the personalisation form.

- We follow the example images shown on our site, so please check these if you're unsure of positioning.

- We are not responsible for names appearing in the incorrect order if entered incorrectly during checkout.


✒️ Plural Family Name Formatting

 - When writing a plural surname.
✅ Correct: The Taylors
❌ Incorrect: The Taylor’s

However we will personalise as per your instructions on your order

- For family names that end in s (e.g., Jones), we recommend: The Jones Family.

If you're unsure about formatting, feel free to write a festive message instead such as:

Merry Christmas

Happy Christmas

Christmas 2025

Simply the Year

- Pawprints and red hearts can be added to many ornaments at no extra cost.
